Self-Love, It's My Turn!


Stress is real and does not discriminate. It is your body's response to the world's known and unknown pressures and presents itself when there is a lack of control over life's challenges or a strong sense of self-doubt. It's important to check in with yourself regarding how you are feeling and practice grace, gratitude, and self-care as you journey through unchartered territory.

Self-love encompasses: 

  • Managing your mental well-being by practicing stress management through healthy coping skills;
  • Self-acceptance, which includes embracing all of you, including your perfections, flaws, and imperfections;
  • Healthy boundaries you set for yourself and others;
  • Self-care by prioritizing yourself (20-30 min. daily) through alone time and enjoying things that interest you;
  • Positive self-talk from the words you say to and about yourself and calming the negative noise in your head;
  • Self-exploration and self-discovery as you learn new things about yourself (e.g., likes, dislikes, dreams, goals, interests, and hobbies).

Nurture your growth and well-being by practicing self-love consistently. Stay present and celebrate your big and small wins. Be the S/Hero of your own story, get to know yourself, and love yourself unapologetically. You were created by design, so embrace the journey.
